Located in the heart of Henderson, The Depot is a replica of the original 1901 train station and stands as an example of the city’s commitment to preserving the past, while embracing Henderson’s future. The Community Room showcases the history of Henderson and provides a number of resources for the community. Permanent and temporary displays showcase the people and industries that have impacted Henderson and the world. Special events include monthly guided walking tours April through November, as well as the popular Fernwood Cemetery tours and the always-entertaining Spooks and Legends tours.
Connected to The Community Room is the Henderson County Historical & Genealogical Society.
