Early Pioneers of Henderson County Exhibit: A collection of portraits, memorabilia, and occupational tools belonging to some of Henderson’s earliest settlers will be displayed. Oral histories are being collected by the Henderson Historical and Genealogical Society for a proposed book.

In celebration of Women’s History Month, the Community Room is hosting a special exhibit entitled “Breaking Barriers: African American Women of Kentucky.”

A Civil War Living History and Re-enactment on Henderson’s Riverfront is being sponsored by the Community Room and the Henderson Historical Society.
March 31- April 1st
The Historymobile visits Henderson once again, this time exhibiting the history of Abraham Lincoln. The Historymobile will be open from 10am to 4pm on these two days. Admission is free.
April
Civil War paraphernalia are being featured in the Community Room following the visit of the Historymobile’s Abraham Lincoln exhibit.
May- June
Railroad History Month: Henderson’s rich railroad history will be featured in a special exhibit in the Community Room.
